The Festival of Pears, 9/07
The Fruit Loop of Oregon's Hwy. 35 that emcompasses Mt. Hood, is a virtual calendar adventure of farms, fruit orchards and breathtaking scenery. Each year, the local farms participate in this wonderful festival celebrating the best of the local harvest: pears!

Spanish for "little apple", Manzanita is indeed one of the sweetest little getaways along the Pacific coast. We spent the Labor Day weekend here.
